Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is the ultimate collaboration app. You can send messages instantly, work on files in real-time and share your thoughts in a chat room open to all. It’s like having a private chat with anyone—all without opening any emails or applications.

SharePoint was created so that it can be customized to suit any business. It is dynamic, productive, and can help any company work more effectively by providing not just file sharing solutions but also data storage solutions, newsfeeds and resources.

Connect with team members on whichever device you’re working on, inside and outside your company. You can easily share, access and update files in real-time.

OneDrive is Microsoft’s cloud service that connects you to all your files. It lets you store, protect them, share them with others, and have access to them on all your devices.

OneDrive is sometimes called “OneDrive for work or school” when used with an account provided by your company or school. It used to be known as “OneDrive for Business,” so you may still see it called that in some places

Microsoft Planner is a project management tool developed by Microsoft that allows teams to assign and coordinate work visually. The app helps business teams work together more effectively as they progress while giving complete visibility of everyone’s responsibilities.

Microsoft Planner is sometimes said to be comparable to other project management apps like Trello, Slack and Asana.

Microsoft Forms enables you to create a form, such as a survey or quiz, and share it others. Data will be available in real-time, so you can continuously monitor the results.

With our built-in analytics, you can evaluate the responses that come through and then export them to Excel for further analysis or moderation.

Microsoft Exchange Online is a hosted messaging solution that delivers email, calendar, contacts, and tasks from PCs, the web, and mobile devices. It integrates fully with Azure Active Directory, enabling administrators to use group policies, as well as other administration tools, to manage Exchange Online features across their environment.

Power Automate is a service that seamlessly connects apps and services to help you automate tasks such as saving files, getting notifications, and other actions. You can build workflows with it to make your work more efficient. Some examples:

  • Automate business processes
  • Send automatic reminders for past due tasks
  • Move business data between systems on a schedule
  • Connect to more than 500 data sources or any publicly available API
  • You can even automate tasks on your local computer like computing data in Excel.

By automating repetitive manual tasks with Power Automate, you’ll be able to save a lot of time. By recording mouse clicks, keystrokes, and copy paste steps from your desktop all you need to do is decide how many times you want to automate your tasks and hit play.

Microsoft Stream is an Enterprise Video service that gives people in your organization a hosted, encrypted space to upload, share, and view videos. It’s a good way to organize team-related videos so they don’t take up valuable space on your devices.

Microsoft Stream makes it easy to share your thoughts on a video, tag comments with specific timecodes so others can jump to the same points in the video and focus on different sections. It also enables discussion with colleagues

If you want video content to stay within your organization, or if you want to let specific people view it, Microsoft Stream offers an easy way to do so.

Azure Active Directory enables secure application access, making it easier for employees to work remotely and make the most of their hardware. The identity management platform is a recognized leader when it comes to security, in order to provide your company with data safety.

Hosting and Cloud

Cloud Hosting

Cloud hosting is an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) delivery model that provides a suite of on-demand hosted services that can be used for computing and storage. Simply put, cloud hosting consists of a network of servers acting as one, providing the ability to store data and run business applications.

Cloud computing largely negates the need to run and manage physical servers on-site, allowing businesses to work more efficiently and scale on demand. Cloud computing is increasingly important and popular in recent years thanks to the agility it offers, as well as considerable cost savings, significantly greater capacity, and access to a plethora of managed services at the ‘click of a button’. Cloud computing delivers clear value to both service provider and the organisation. Whilst it provides businesses with cheaper, quicker, and more feasible ways to keep up with technology trends, it also offers service providers better ways to serve its customers.

Benefits of cloud computing:

  • Cost savings
  • Security
  • Flexibility
  • Mobility
  • Insight
  • Increased collaboration
  • Quality control
  • Disaster recovery
  • Loss prevention
  • Competitive edge
  • Sustainability

There are typically four cloud deployment strategies to consider – private cloud, public cloud, hybrid cloud and multi-cloud. Each have their own advantages and draw backs. Every business is unique – when planning cloud adoption, one of the first steps is to determine which deployment option is right for the organisation.

Public Cloud

Public clouds are shared, on-demand infrastructure and resources delivered by a third-party provider to deliver services to users.. In a public cloud deployment scenario, the organisation utilizes one or more types of cloud services such as software-as-a-service (SaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS) or IaaS from public CSPs such as AWS, Google, or Azure, without relying to any degree on private cloud (on-premises) infrastructure.

  • typically used young/smaller organisations
  • used to ensure ease of deployment and rapid on-demand scaling
  • low cost of ownership/monthly payments

Private Cloud

A private cloud (often referred to as on-premise data center) is a dedicated, on-demand infrastructure and resources that are owned and managed by the organisation to deliver services to users. Users access the services via the company’s private network, and in some cases, over the public internet.

  • typically used by large enterprises
  • used to ensure compliance with regulatory or governance demands
  • leverage an existing investment in IT infrastructure

Hybrid-cloud

A hybrid cloud is a combination of public cloud and private cloud services, working together to deliver services to users efficiency across operations and infrastructure. Hybrid cloud deployments are very popular because it allows organisations that wish to shift to a public cloud, to migrate more modern services first whilst gradually getting rid of legacy workloads.

Multi-cloud

A multi-cloud is any combination of one or more public clouds and private clouds. For example, you can subscribe to selected services from multiple Cloud Service Providers (CSP) such as Azure, AWS, and Google, depending on the business’ needs and/or the unique propositions presented by the CSP. By leveraging multi-cloud orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, application workloads can seamlessly be migrated from one CSP to another and back again with no impact on user performance or uptime.
